Duo Veris

In 2013, pianist Erika Spring and cellist Anna Aigner met at the Music High School in Linz. Since then, they have been performing together in a variety of projects and concerts.

Their repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Shostakovich, as well as lesser-known compositions and contemporary music. A particular focus of their artistic work is free improvisation, which serves as a direct form of personal expression – without words, using tonal elements, often abstract. Combined with contemporary music, this results in varied and lively concert programmes.

In 2024, the Duo Veris won second prize for free improvisation at the Impro Parcours #4 competition.

Trio Paidia

The Trio Paidia was born out of a shared enthusiasm for contemporary music and consists of cellist Anna Aigner, flutist Miho Sakuma and pianist Erika Spring. The three are united by their curiosity about experimental concert formats in which they explore ideas musically and open up new worlds of sound. The trio is particularly interested in collaborating with composers and incorporating commissioned works into their concert programmes.

Divinerinnen

Since 2021, the Divinerinnen have dedicated themselves to the touching melodies of Viennese music. The young ensemble uses unusual instrumentation to focus on previously undiscovered archive treasures and modern compositions. Their intention is the musical discovery of new sounds in Schrammel music. The seven musicians reflect the musically colourful Vienna of the 21st century. They span the spectrum from the philharmonic New Year's concert to the Heurigen, from teaching to scientific activity, from the dance floor to the musical. This diversity creates a multifaceted, sensual pleasure.
